On January 7, 2025, at Hall A1, Nghe An University of Economics (now Nghe An University), in coordination with the US Embassy in Vietnam, held a sharing session on opportunities to access Fulbright scholarships for students, as well as discuss and introduce open resources to help students improve their English proficiency. The event attracted the participation of many students and interested people inside and outside Nghe An University.

In order to strengthen the cooperative relationship between Nghe An University of Economics and the US Embassy in Vietnam, senior experts from the RELO Regional English Language Office and the US Embassy Cultural Office shared opportunities to access and access valuable Fulbright scholarship packages. At the sharing session, the experts also guided students to exploit open resources such as learning materials, online courses, language learning support software and interactive platforms to help students improve their English proficiency to have more opportunities to access scholarships.

During the discussion, the participating students actively raised many questions related to accessing scholarships, applying open resources to the English learning process, choosing appropriate resources, how to build a study plan and use open resources effectively.
The sharing session provided a lot of useful information, opened up many new opportunities for students to access scholarships and contributed to improving students’ self-study and English proficiency.
