Delegation from Guangxi University visits and works with Nghe An University

On the morning of November 21, 2025, Nghe An University officially hosted a working session with the delegation from Guangxi University – one of China’s leading higher education institutions. The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, combining both in-person and online participation, and was co-chaired by the two Presidents: Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hieu and Dr. Xiao Jianzhang.

This program was organized to concretize the commitments outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two universities during Nghe An University’s official visit to Guangxi University in June 2025. It serves as vivid testimony to the continuous efforts of both institutions in strengthening and advancing academic cooperation, scientific research, and cultural exchange.

The follow-up meeting has focused on:

– Faculty, student, and postgraduate exchange programs: Both sides discussed initiatives to promote academic mobility, creating opportunities for study, research, and cultural immersion in both Vietnam and China.

– Joint research and scholarly publications: The two universities agreed to collaborate on research projects and co-author scientific papers in prestigious international journals, particularly in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation, and linguistics.

– Co-organization of academic conferences: The institutions will jointly host specialized conferences, including an international conference scheduled for May 2026 under the theme “Digital Transformation, Digital Knowledge, and Digital Economy in the Context of Global Integration.”

– Development of training programs: Guangxi University will support the establishment of a Chinese Language Training Center at Nghe An University, while also sharing expertise in designing advanced curricula that meet the demands of the labor market.

This meeting stands as a testament to the deepening cooperation between the two universities, opening up new opportunities in education, research, and cultural exchange. It marks an important step forward in enhancing educational quality, fostering international integration, and affirming the academic standing of both institutions, particularly Nghe An University.

The session concluded in a warm, open, and collaborative atmosphere. Both sides exchanged commemorative gifts and took group photographs, underscoring their shared commitment to building a strong, long-term, and effective partnership.
