Nghe An University of Economics held a ceremony to receive the certificate of education quality accreditation

On the morning of October 14, 2022, Nghe An University of Economics held a ceremony to announce and receive the education quality accreditation certificate from the Ministry of Education and Training.

This is a very important event for NAUE, it has been a great change and affirmed the new position of Nghe An University of Economics in the education and training system of Vietnam.

Attending at the ceremony, NAUE was honored to welcome delegates including: Mr. Bui Dinh Long – Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee; representatives of government organizations in Nghe An province; Representatives of enterprises and press agencies.

Representatives of the Vinh University for Education Accreditation include: Dr. Tran Dinh Quang – Director of the Center; Master. Nguyen Thi Thanh – Head of HCTH; Dr. Phan Hung Thu – Secretary.

Representatives of Nghe An University of Economics include: Dr. Nguyen Dinh Tuong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the School Council of NAUE; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hieu – Rector, comrades in the Board of Directors, leaders, lecturers and students and alumni.

At the ceremony, Nghe An University of Economics was officially recognized as meeting the educational quality accreditation standards according to the new set of standards of the Ministry of Education and Training. The set of standards for accreditation of educational institutions includes 25 standards that have 111 criteria. The standards are divided into 4 groups, including: strategic quality assurance; system quality assurance; quality assurance of operational functions (training, scientific research, connection – serving the community); and performance of higher education institutions.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Education Accreditation Council, Dr. Tran Dinh Quang – Director of the Center congratulated and thanked Nghe An University of Economics, agencies, organizations and related parties for their interest, cooperation, effective cooperation in external assessment activities as well as educational quality accreditation activities over the past time. Appreciating the efforts and achievements of NAUE over the years, Dr. Tran Dinh Quang also emphasized: Accreditation is an important mechanism to ensure the quality of education, it helps schools have specific solutions to improve, improve the quality of administration, ensure the quality of training activities, scientific research and community service; education accreditation certification is the driving force and challenge for the leaders, lecturers, staff and students of Nghe An University of Economics to continue their efforts to maintain and improve further about quality and reputation and brand of the University, at the same time, he expressed his hope that the University would continue to have new development steps, affirming its reputation on the basis of continuing to well implement activities as recommended by experts and the Education Accreditation Council.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hieu – Rector, would like to thank the Quality Accreditation Council for their fair, high quality and hard work in the past time. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hieu said that: “In the development process, Nghe An University of Economics has always determined that quality is the core factor for sustainable development. To achieve the achievements like today is a whole effort of all members, in which many NAUE lecturers, together with consultants, have jointly developed a quality assurance strategy, to establish and operate an internal quality assurance system, the most important of which is training and developing people,  it has demonstrated NAUE’s responsibility to society, publicizing its quality to society, it has given the right information so that students can choose the right school and stakeholders such as businesses can choose NAUE to collaborate on graduate recruitment, which is an investment in innovation.”
