On June 6, 2026, Pangasinan State University (Philippines) hosted the International Seminar on Emerging Technologies in Education exclusively online via Zoom.

Under the theme “Empowering Future-Ready Education Through Emerging Technologies, Innovation, and Global Collaboration,” the Seminar provided a platform for sharing insights, research, and practical applications of new technologies in teaching and learning.

Representing Nghe An University, Ms. Nguy Van Thuy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, was invited as one of three international keynote speakers. She delivered a presentation on “AI Applications Used in Teaching,” highlighting innovative approaches to integrating artificial intelligence into classroom practice.

The program also featured contributions from experts from Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, covering topics such as human-centered AI, learning analytics, sustainable education in ASEAN, and practical AI applications in pedagogy.

The Seminar served as a meaningful opportunity for academic exchange, enabling participants to update knowledge on emerging educational technologies while strengthening international collaboration in training and research.

The participation of Nghe An University as a keynote contributor reaffirmed the institution’s growing reputation, academic expertise, and commitment to deeper integration within the ASEAN and global education networks.
