A group of students from Nghe An University (NAU) participated in the Greater Mekong Subregion Cultural Exchange Program (Thailand – Laos – Vietnam – China) scheduled from 6 to 12 July 2026 at Rajabhat Mahasarakham University (RMU), Thailand.

The program brought together students from Vietnam, Laos, China, and Thailand to foster intercultural understanding, enhance communication skills, and promote friendship among young people in the Greater Mekong Subregion. Through a variety of cultural exchange activities, discussions, and interactive sessions, participants had the opportunity to learn about the traditions, customs, and lifestyles of different countries while developing essential global competencies.

Representing Nghe An University, the participating students actively engaged in the program alongside students from the National University of Laos, Rajabhat Mahasarakham University, and Chinese students studying in Thailand. The event also provided a valuable platform for students to build international networks, exchange experiences, and strengthen mutual understanding in a multicultural environment.

The participation of NAU students reflects the University’s commitment to providing international learning opportunities and encouraging students to develop the knowledge, skills, and global perspectives needed to become active contributors to regional and international cooperation.
