On May 16, during the Sen Village Festival and the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth, international delegates from Guangxi University, Maha Sarakham Rajabhat University, Udon Thani Rajabhat University, Central Luzon State University, and Pangasinan State University visited Kim Lien, the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh.

The visit preceded the first conference of the Sustainable Development Alliance (SDA), marking a new step in academic cooperation and education internationalization across Asia. The signing of MoUs established the legal foundation for SDA — a network promoting sustainable values, innovation, academic exchange, and high-quality human resource training.

In the serene Sen Village, delegates expressed deep emotion while learning about Ho Chi Minh’s life and ideals, recognizing his global influence as a cultural icon and national hero.

Their respectful footsteps through the simple thatched houses reflected how his vision of peace, humanity, and sustainable development continues to inspire across borders.

The visit symbolized friendship and international cooperation in higher education, affirming Nghe An University’s growing role in connecting global knowledge and advancing education for sustainable development.

From Ho Chi Minh’s beloved homeland, the journey of global educational connection expands with trust, collaboration, and the aspiration to build a sustainable future for the young generation.
