On June 4, 2026, Nghe An University welcomed a delegation of experts from Green Carbon Japan, a company specializing in sustainable farming solutions, carbon reduction technologies, and digital platforms for agricultural management.

The delegation included Mr. Afaq Muhammad, Ms. Shrinnwanti Ghosh, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Vy, together with Mr. Phan Tien Thanh and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thai from Green Carbon Vietnam. Representing Nghe An University were Dr. Nguyen Dinh Tuong, Vice Rector, along with leaders from the Office of Science Management and International Cooperation, the Office of Academic Affairs, the Office of Administration, and faculty members of the School of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries.

 

 

The working session focused on exploring strategic cooperation in science and technology, with discussions on innovative cultivation methods, emission reduction practices, and knowledge transfer. Both sides exchanged insights on advanced techniques such as AWD (Alternate Wetting and Drying) for rice production and the application of the Agreen platform for data-driven farming.

 

This meeting underscored the shared commitment of both institutions to promote environmentally friendly agriculture, reduce carbon emissions, and strengthen international collaboration in pursuit of long-term sustainable development.
