On April 23, 2026, a delegation from Busan University of Foreign Studies (BUFS), South Korea, paid an official working visit to Nghe An University.

The meeting marked an important step in strengthening educational cooperation between the two institutions. During the session, leaders from both universities discussed opportunities for joint research, student and faculty exchanges, and collaborative programs in language and cultural studies.

Representatives from Nghe An University expressed their commitment to expanding international partnerships, emphasizing the value of cooperation with BUFS in enhancing academic quality and global integration.

The BUFS delegation highlighted their interest in building long-term ties with Vietnamese universities, particularly in the fields of Korean language education, translation, and intercultural communication.

The visit concluded with both sides agreeing to draft a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to formalize future collaboration. This event reflects the growing educational and cultural connections between Vietnam and South Korea, contributing to mutual understanding and academic development.
