On December 11, 2024, Nghe An University of Economics officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for educational cooperation with Romblon State University, the Philippines. The event marks an important step in forstering international cooperation and opens up many development opportunities for both parties.
The two universities committed to implementing cooperation initiatives, including:
– Improving academic, cultural, and professional skills exchange programs for teachers and students.
– Coorganising international workshops on global challenges like innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable development; transferring technology; and working together on collaborative research initiatives.
– Developing bilateral joint training programs in the fields of economics, business administration, and engineering, as well as thematic workshops to improve education quality.
Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Hiếu, representing Nghe An University of Economics, emphasised that expanding cooperation with Romblon State University is a strategic step that boosts the university’s worldwide position and provides practical benefits to both students and faculty.
Representing Romblon State University, Dr. Emelyn Montoya expressed her hope: “We believe that this cooperation will create lasting values, not only in the field of education but also in building a friendly relationship between the two countries.”
Following this discussion, Nghe An University of Economics and Romblon State University have agreed on the next steps to put the suggested collaboration ideas into practice in an atmosphere of mutual progress and cooperation.
