On May 16, 2026, as part of the inaugural summit held at Nghe An University, six institutions: Nghe An University (Vietnam), Guangxi University (China), Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University (Thailand), Udon Thani Rajabhat University (Thailand), Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (Philippines), and Pangasinan State University (Philippines), convened to unify regulations and officially sign the founding agreement of the Universities Alliance for Sustainable Development (UASD).

Key Objectives of the Alliance:

  • Promote collaborative research and innovation.
  • Enhance academic training and develop high-quality human resources.
  • Strengthen cultural and academic exchanges among students and faculty.
  • Implement joint projects focused on sustainability, environmental protection, and community development
